The mission of Éole Québec inc. is to promote the development of the wind power industry in Quebec, specifically in the regions referred to in Hydro Québec's calls for tenders, by fostering the creation and implementation of various industries related to this area of activity, among other things.
Éole Québec's main objective is to facilitate networking among business people in the wind power industry to attract more companies to come to the above-mentioned regions. The achievement of this objective will provide major economic spinoffs for the regions referred to in Hydro Québec's calls for tender and the recognition of these regions as a hub for wind power in Quebec.
The vehicles prioritized by Éole Québec to achieve its objective are the Eole Trade Show event and Eole Tournement event [golf tournament]. These events provide opportunities for business people in the wind power industry to meet with wind farms developpers, suppliers and with economic development officers whose regions are affected by projects to build wind farms. The advantages of holding these events include improving harmonious relations between various regional economic stakeholders and the main players in the development of Quebec's wind power industry.

By next July 2010, to support wind power industry clients looking for regional sub-contractors and suppliers to carry out their projects, Éole Québec will republish its third directory edition of companies selling goods and services with the assistance of several regional Economic development centers call CLDs (Centre Local de développement).
This directory will be distributed to all participants in the upcoming Eole Trade Show event and to the CLDs. Like the 2008 and the 2009 editions, the 2010 directory's edition is an excellent way to promote regional companies and allow them to benefit from the economic spinoffs of Quebec's wind power industry.
